Hydro Flask, the award-winning leader in high performance stainless-steel flask, was one of the sponsors of Hurley BL’s Bali Blast Off 2019. The annual surfing event, designed and organised by 1988 World Surfing Champion Barton Lynch (BL), is aimed for boys and girls ages 14 years old and under to test their skills on the international stage. The event was held from April 14 to 20 in Bingin Beach, a stunning beach with great waves, making it one of the most desired surfing points in Bali. A total of 98 kids from Indonesia and from Australia entered the event.

Through PT Yuna Asia, Primer Group of Companies’ arm in Indonesia, Hydro Flask became the official water bottle partner of the seven-day event, providing refreshing experiences to participants and committees.

Each participant received a 21 oz standard mouth bottle engraved with Hurley BL’s Bali Blast Off logo. Additionally, attendees, committees and visitors had the chance to fill up their water bottles at Hydro Flask tent anytime for free.

Hydro Flask also invited guests to try out the Hydro Flask Ring Toss game, and anyone who managed to get ring around three different Hydro Flask bottles brought one water bottle home.

Participants also engaged in a coastal clean up, and with the help of local charity organization Plastic Free Uluwatu, a considerable amount of trash was collected.

Hurley BL’s Bali Blast Off 2019 is the first surfing event sponsored by Hydro Flask Indonesia.
