Walking is one of the most effective ways to living a healthier life. Not only does it burn calories, it also helps improve one’s mood, among many other benefits.
Last Saturday, April 27, 2019, Healthy Back Bag (HBB) Indonesia organized a Jakarta Old Town Walking Tour. To show how comfortable, organized, secured, ergonomic, and balanced a Healthy Back Bag is, the participants, comprised of influencers, customers, media, and partners from various department stores and e-commerce sites, were asked to transfer their belongings from their own bags into an HBB, which they used as they strolled across the old town.
From the meeting place in Plaza Indonesia Mall, everyone hopped on a bus headed to the Bank of Indonesia Museum where the two and a half hour walking tour started. Professional tourist guides from Jakarta Good Guide accompanied the group all throughout the activity and imparted valuable knowledge about the country. The group also visited Fatahillah Museum, and a little past noon time, the gathering ended with a sumptuous meal at Pantjoran Tea House where the HBB principal talked about the brand’s history and global presence, and the bags’ functionality and benefits.
“This was a rare opportunity to witness a blended audience interacting and actively carrying their contents in a Healthy Back Bag for ‘everyday use’. The City Walking Tour was interesting, informative and a great platform for differing consumer groups to take the Healthy Back Bag out for a ’test drive’,” says Nancy Evans, HBB’s Director of Global Business. “With over 40 participants wear-testing our bags, it was like our own personal focus group!” she continues.
Belinda Toi, HBB’s Regional Brand Manager adds, “A tremendous morning. I had a great experience using Healthy Back Bag at the walking tour while, at the same time, enjoying the city and interacting with the participants. Well planned and executed project!”
Bratpack, Hydro Flask, and FitFlop provided prizes and giveaways to the participants. Some guests were lucky enough to experience walking with FitFlop footwear and taking them home. On using FitFlop, participants remarked: “They’re so light.”, “One of the most comfy shoes I’ve ever tried!”. Those using HBB expressed: “Balanced and comfortable”, “I’ll use it every day”.
With more than 40 people enjoying parading their HBBs’ unique shape and eye-catching colors/prints while learning from traversing the major streets and touristy areas in Jakarta, Primer Indonesia definitely would not mind doing the activity again.
