FitFlop, one of the most recognized footwear brands in the world, continues to #GoTheExtraMile by not only selling fantastic, ergonomically-engineered shoes well-designed for women, but also by supporting advocacies that spread love and inspiration and that give women confidence to go further.
On May 2, 2019, FitFlop Indonesia, together with SOGO and Plaza Senayan, hosted Go The Extra Mile for Breast Cancer Pre-event Talkshow, an educational discussion that aims to spread awareness of breast cancer symptoms, encourage regular check up for early detection, and inspire women through motivational talks by two guest speakers, internist Dr. Ralp Girson Gunarsa, Sp.PD-KHOM and Lovepink founder Shanti Persada.
Aimed at supporting Lovepink, a non-profit organization for breast cancer warriors and survivors, the event featured five breast cancer survivor from Lovepink who walked the runway for the trunk show, and modeled the Spring Summer ’19 Collections of FitFlop.
Over 60 invited media partners, influencers, loyal customers and partners also witnessed the unveiling of the special collection dedicated for Lovepink. Proceeds from this collection, particularly of the Rosa Glitters Slides in Rose, will be donated to Lovepink. Selling of the collection runs until May 31, 2019 until supplies last.
At the end of the day, guests not only enjoyed the food, photobooth, music by DJ Silvy, and prizes, but also went home fulfilled with the feeling of being able to support a great cause.
